Dr. Lydia Tan is a Family Physician who began her medical education at the University of St Andrews, United Kingdom, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Medical Sciences. She then completed her clinical training at the University of Manchester, earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB).
Dr. Tan further advanced her expertise by completing her Master of Medicine in Family Medicine (MMed FM) at the National University of Singapore. Her residency training at the National University Hospital Systems provided her with comprehensive experience across multiple medical specialties.
Beyond traditional medicine, Dr. Tan holds specialized certifications in exercise prescription through Exercise is Medicine® Singapore (EIMS) and is a certified STOTT PILATES® instructor. She actively teaches Reformer Pilates outside of clinical practice, demonstrating her commitment to promoting wellness beyond the clinic setting.
At Fair Employment Medical, Dr. Tan provides health screenings, preventive healthcare consultations, chronic disease management, and women's health services. She is currently pursuing specialized training in healthy longevity through dedicated courses and conferences, bringing evidence-based healthy aging strategies to her patients.
