Everything you need to know about FDW 6-monthly medical examinations
The 6ME (6-Monthly Medical Examination) is a mandatory health screening required by MOM for all foreign domestic workers (FDWs) employed in Singapore. Employers must ensure their domestic helpers undergo this examination every 6 months.
The 6ME typically includes a serum pregnancy test and VDRL test. Depending on MOM requirements, HIV testing and chest X-ray may also be needed. Please check your helper's work permit conditions to confirm the specific tests required.
Most FDW 6ME medical examinations are completed within 30 to 60 minutes during off-peak hours. As a one-stop clinic with on-site X-ray and testing facilities, all required tests can be completed in a single visit.
Standard medical reports are typically ready within 2 working days and sent via email. If you need the report urgently, we offer an express service with 24-hour turnaround for an additional $32.70. Express reports are available for morning appointments only.
Yes, we provide MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccinations for foreign domestic workers as may be required by MOM. Vaccinations can be administered during the same visit as the medical examination.
